NorthStar Pet Rescue

The adoption and foster programs at the Montville Animal Shelter now follow updated procedures. The shelter will open its doors to the general public so they may see the animals that are up for adoption.

Animal Control serves as a resource for all residents with ill, hurt, or old animals and informs the public on how to take care of their pets.

Our concentration is on rescuing dogs from NJ shelters and pounds to lessen overcrowding and euthanasia in our area as well as taking in surrenders to save them from entering shelters or ending up in risky situations. We are a small group of animal lovers committed to truly assisting the "underdog."

The Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter has been giving homeless animals great care for almost 50 years. We make every effort to place each cat or dog in a long-term, devoted home.

Innocent dogs and cats on death row are the focus of Eleventh Hour Rescue, a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization with full 501C(3) registration. Many of them are saved at their Eleventh Hour, when other shelters that can no longer take care of them are supposed to put them to death.

The Kinnelon Volunteer Animal Shelter serves as a haven for unwanted and abandoned cats and dogs until their permanent homes can be located. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare and adoption.
