Smitten By Kittens is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that helps cats and kittens find forever homes through TNR, fostering, and adoption.

St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center has been committed to assisting all animals in need for more than 80 years, regardless of their species, size, or temperament. We treat each animal as an individual and place a strong emphasis on specialized care for both animals and their families using a people-focused, community-based approach.

Animal Control serves as a resource for all residents with ill, hurt, or old animals and informs the public on how to take care of their pets.

Our concentration is on rescuing dogs from NJ shelters and pounds to lessen overcrowding and euthanasia in our area as well as taking in surrenders to save them from entering shelters or ending up in risky situations. We are a small group of animal lovers committed to truly assisting the "underdog."

We firmly think that the greatest way to prepare dogs for their future homes is to get them out of shelters and into foster homes. Additionally, we wanted to establish a foster program to offer care and assistance to pets in need.

The adoption and foster programs at the Montville Animal Shelter now follow updated procedures. The shelter will open its doors to the general public so they may see the animals that are up for adoption.
