Our concentration is on rescuing dogs from NJ shelters and pounds to lessen overcrowding and euthanasia in our area as well as taking in surrenders to save them from entering shelters or ending up in risky situations. We are a small group of animal lovers committed to truly assisting the "underdog."

Animal Control serves as a resource for all residents with ill, hurt, or old animals and informs the public on how to take care of their pets.

Animals are in a terrible state in many parts of the country, especially the South. They may be chained outside and malnourished, homeless and roaming the streets, or just unwanted and left in an overcrowded and underfunded facility that can't possible accommodate another animal.

At the intersection of Flora Avenue and Durban Avenue is where you can find the Hopatcong Animal Shelter. In Hopatcong, the Shelter serves as a place of successful transition for lost animals.
