Monroe SPCA envisions a humane and no-kill community where people treat each other and animals with love, respect, and understanding.

Numerous breeds of stray animals are available for adoption from the public at the Monroe County Animal Control Shelter. Any county-owned animal may be adopted at the discretion of the Animal Control Division.

Our goal is to promote a culture of respect, responsibility, and compassion for companion animals via leadership, education, and pet population management.

To provide a humane facility to house, feed, and care for abandoned, neglected, and lost animals in Wayne County, New York, as well as to create a space for humane education for county residents.
