Simply said, we seek to make long-term matches and make it as simple as possible for animals to find wonderful homes. We will always explain why we are directing you toward or away from a particular animal. When animals live long and happy lives with their adopters, we consider ourselves successful. We know we've done our jobs well when you refer us to others, give us shout-outs on social media, and send us images of your dogs in their new loving homes. We adopt thousands of animals each year, but we only celebrate them one at a time.

Except for farm animals and a few exotics, all adoptable animals are currently housed at our Tom & Annette Lantos Center for Compassion, 1450 Rollins Road in Burlingame.
