Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Fallbrook, and the rest of North County San Diego are just a few of the communities we proudly service. Our full-service companion animal hospital first opened its doors in 1989, and we've been taking care of the dogs and cats of our community ever since. We can help with routine wellness care, dental, and surgery for your pet.

Our hospital is built in a modern, 4,000-square-foot structure with all of the equipment, technology, and amenities needed to provide outstanding treatment to our patients throughout their lives. We fulfill all of your pet's basic needs and provide a comprehensive range of services, including surgery and Wellness Plans, as well as nutritional counseling.

Dr. Evans was born and raised in San Diego. He relocated to complete his studies at the University of California, Davis, for his undergraduate and veterinary degrees. He earned a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. During his time at Davis, he was a member of the men's volleyball team, spent a quarter learning tropical biology in Costa Rica, and then spent a quarter studying the Black and Chestnut eagle with a research team in the Peruvian jungles.

Aviara Animal Health Center, which opened its doors in 1985, has been a staple for pet owners in Carlsbad, Oceanside, Encinitas, Cardiff, Escondido, Vista, and other parts of Northern San Diego County. This Carlsbad veterinary hospital has built on its reputation for exceptional care and client service under the ownership of Dr. Ben Singh (who became the practice's third owner in August of 2010). We've also added state-of-the-art computerized full-body and dental X-rays, sophisticated lab equipment, ultrasound technology, and computerized medical records to the Carlsbad veterinary clinic.
