The Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach has been providing caring, experienced veterinarian care for dogs, cats, small animals, birds, and exotics to the city of Huntington Beach and the surrounding areas since 1978. We are a full-service veterinary facility that provides laser surgery, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and acupuncture, among other treatments. In addition, we have an indoor boarding kennel with separate spaces for dogs, cats, birds, and other exotics that is climate controlled. We also provide hydro-surge washing to keep your pet looking and smelling their best!

Smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and WESTEC alarm system protection services keep our premises secure and safe. We have a kennel space that is enclosed and roomy, with climate control and a fenced in exercise yard. The hospital has been expanded multiple times and new renovations are continually being planned, with a total area of almost three quarters of an acre.

Beach City Animal Hospital, which opened in 1964, has retained all of its attractiveness and has not aged in the least. Residents of Huntington Beach have been taking their pets to this modest hospital for almost 50 years. Dr. Max Graehl founded Beach City Animal Hospital in the 1960s and subsequently sold it to his associate and Huntington Beach favorite, Dr. Donald Tyler, in the 1980s. Dr. Tyler, following in the footsteps of Dr. Graehl, passed over the reins to his associate and friend, Dr. Robert Beshai, in 2011.
