North Denver Animal Clinic

North Denver Animal Clinic began its 50-year adventure at the stockyards of the National Western Stock Show grounds in the 1960s. Dr. Jerry Bohlender founded the clinic in 1967, and it has its roots in North Denver. Drs. Mike and Lori Scott graduated from Colorado State University's DVM department in 1988, bought the firm, and began working as a husband and wife team. The clinic rented premises from the Yantorno family for two blocks until 2007, when it moved onto a piece of their truck farm and became a stand-alone facility. North Denver Animal Clinic, which is still classified as an agriculture support business, perpetuates the Yantorno family legacy of agricultural zoning in such close proximity to the city.
