Aspen Commons Animal Hospital has built a name in the Southeast Denver and Aurora neighborhoods when we first opened our doors for business. The Dumb Friends League Veterinary Hospital in Yuma was established to prevent and relieve suffering in pets whose owners would otherwise be unable to offer it. We service our clients on an honor system out of respect for them and to avoid building roadblocks when documentation is difficult. Please seek care for your pet from one of the wonderful veterinarians in our neighborhood if you cannot otherwise afford it. North Denver Animal Clinic began its 50-year adventure at the stockyards of the National Western Stock Show grounds in the 1960s. Dr. Jerry Bohlender founded the clinic in 1967, and it has its roots in North Denver. Drs. Mike and Lori Scott graduated from Colorado State University's DVM department in 1988, bought the firm, and began working as a husband and wife team. The clinic rented premises from the Yantorno family for two blocks until 2007, when it moved onto a piece of their truck farm and became a stand-alone facility. North Denver Animal Clinic, which is still classified as an agriculture support business, perpetuates the Yantorno family legacy of agricultural zoning in such close proximity to the city.

We want to see as many happy and healthy pets as possible with their owners, and we feel that by providing the fundamentals, such as regular vet visits, vaccinations, heartworm testing and medication, general dental, and much more, we can prevent serious illnesses.
