From pre-op to post-op to no-op, we see a wide range of challenging cases. We assist dogs in their post-surgery recovery. We also offer non-surgical treatments for a variety of conditions. We specialize on complementary medicine at Walking Paws Rehab, integrating holistic and traditional therapy to provide the best care possible.

Because animals and their families are suffering from under-recognized and under-treated behavioral conditions. As behavior veterinarians, we have the unique capacity to help patients who are suffering by treating both their bodies and minds. Every day, families are disintegrated due to behavioral issues. As a service, we may assist in preparing a pet and family for a lifetime of enjoyment rather than heartbreak. More philosophically, we believe that our society owes it to the animals under our control to do all possible to keep them free of pain, anguish, and fear. We'd like to take part in this mission as agents.

The Humane Society of Boulder Valley (HSBV) is a reliable resource for companion animal services and information in Boulder and Broomfield counties. HSBV, which was founded in 1902, is a safety net for animals in need in our community and beyond. Each year, HSBV helps over 10,000 animals find new beginnings in the Boulder community or works to protect happy and healthy partnerships, and our Safety Net services assist thousands of existing pet-guardian ties in our community.

Any animal that arrives to our open-admission, socially conscious sanctuary receives treatment. HSBV takes community animals as guardian surrenders, stray pets, and transferred animals seven days a week. We can now offer a wider range of services thanks to the Transfer program.

At our Boulder facility, Colorado Animal Specialist & Emergency (CASE) provides specialty and 24-hour emergency veterinary care for dogs and cats. Our compassionate veterinary specialty and emergency care is provided to pets and their families by our experienced medical experts, many of whom are board-certified specialists.

In 2017, Uniquely Cats Veterinary Center opened its doors. Our hospital design provides a pleasant environment for cats, encouraging them to relax and feel at ease. Dr. Fern Slack and her team of cat-loving family members founded Uniquely Cats Veterinary Center with the goal of providing progressive and exceptional veterinary care to the cats of Boulder, Colorado and the surrounding areas, as well as supporting research into feline health, nutrition, and medicine.

Our Boulder veterinary hospital is setting new standards in the industry. We believe in treatment alternatives and want you to be well-informed, so we give you additional time to talk about your pet's requirements.
