Mike Lemos began bringing hay and other agricultural goods to his neighbors in 1972. The business revolved around Mike's old flat-bed truck, and agreements were made with a handshake. Mike has instilled the basic ideals that made Lemos a success so many years ago as the company has grown. Every large bag of pet food is still carried to each customer's car, and we train our employees every month to ensure they know which items are best for your pet. Mike continues to run the company and attends trade events throughout the year to find the latest and greatest products.

Mike and Ethan, co-founders, spent more time than anything listening to their consumers as they drove door-to-door in the heat of horse country with their one and only product. Mike and Ethan soon discovered their clients' wishes and requirements, and they responded, growing to help their customers care for their animals in the best manner possible, out of an understanding and respect for the link between animal and human.
