He began maintaining aquarium fish more than 40 years ago, and this introduced him to a whole new world: SCIENCE! He learned and studied geology, geography, biology, botany, chemistry, entomology, ichthyology, and a host of other subjects as a result of his first aquarium. He participates in Boy Scouts of America and became an Eagle Scout at the age of 16. For more than 30 years, Drew has worked in the pet market. He ran an aquarium care business and owned a pet store at the time.
