The original Wilbur's Feed & Seed has been in operation since 1975, however it was sold in 2010. The present proprietors have worked hard to keep the company's consumer base loyal. Because they are the only feed store in Chico's south end, they make sure to have everything you would need. Everything from pet food to tack to exotic animal supplies can be found here. Check out one of their sponsored local horse shows or inquire about their discounts for 4-H and FFA members.

Northern Star Mills first opened in Chico in 1898 at the corner of West 16th and Chestnut streets. Locally cultivated grains were sent to the mill, which were processed into flour and animal feed. The mill stopped producing flour in 1930, but it continued to operate as a feed mill until it was destroyed by an arson fire in 1986.

Our premium hay is farmed in one of the world's best hay locations - our own backyard, which is located in the mountain valleys of Northern California and South Oregon. The lush soil, combined with long, cool summer days and nights, creates the ideal environment for rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas to eat high-quality, nutritious premium hay.
