The tale of Anaheim Feed started in the 1940s... Would you believe we started out supplying local farmers animal feed and bulk seed? Yes, it is correct! We first opened our doors in 1946 as Anaheim Feed & Seed. The Watts family relocated the company from downtown Anaheim to our current home on Lemon Street in 1978. The enormous yellow structure that you can't miss!

He became interested in the pet food sector because of two major trends: a growing public awareness of the importance of quality pet food and a growing desire for shopping convenience as a result of households with two working people. The next step was to develop a pet food line that will meet the need for a better nutritional quality while also providing the convenience of free home delivery. Paul began his pet food business in the early 1990s from his home in Placentia, California, with these goals in mind.

When we realized how difficult it was to locate high-quality dog and cat items in a convenient manner, we founded Sugar Pet Shop. We adore our pets and believe they are entitled to the finest. We now have a single purpose in mind: to make the lives of dogs and their owners better!
