Droop Mountain Battlefield State Park is a state park in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, located atop Droop Mountain. The Combat of Droop Mountain, which took place on November 6, 1863, was the last significant battle of the American Civil War in the state.

The Falls of Hills Creek Scenic Area, tucked away in a tiny ravine just off the Highland Scenic Highway, is a hidden gem. There are three waterfalls in this popular 114-acre area: 25 feet, 45 feet, and 63 feet. The lower falls, at 63 feet, are West Virginia's second highest waterfall.
