Dog Park at Sandy Bottom Nature Park

Ridgway Park is a dog lover's paradise! The newly refurbished dog park area provides over an acre of safe space for dog owners to let their pets run free. Within the enclosures, there is covered and open seating for owners who want to enjoy the park with their pets, as well as a covered shelter outside for those who want to take in the beauty of the surrounding natural waterways. Both the small dog and all dog enclosures are ADA accessible, with drinking fountains for both canines and humans.

A boat/kayak launch, sports fields, charcoal grills, and an RV campground are all available at this riverfront park.

Kayak and paddleboat rentals, a playground, a stage pavilion, and picnic areas are available at this recreational beach park.

Fido Field, the city's first dog park, established in Riverview Farm Park in April 2006. Fido Field is a terrific spot to play with almost an acre of open space.

Bay Oaks Park is Norfolk's newest park, located one block from the Chesapeake Bay's sandy beaches and shoreline in the heart of Norfolk's Ocean View neighborhood.
