Weatherford Heritage Park

Patsy Hooks Dog Park is one of the best dog parks in not only Parker County, but the entire Fort Worth area, according to us. Patsy Hooks Dog Park has plenty of space for dogs to run and play, as well as plenty of shade for those hot summer days. It also has all of the amenities you'd expect from a dog park (water, poo bags, etc.).

All youngsters can play in a safe and challenging environment on this playground. The equipment invites children to participate and explore at their own pace.

A softball facility, pavilion, and ancient log cabins are all part of this 40-acre park with natural trails and a pond.

This open park, which is located atop a former Confederate encampment, has lighted athletic fields.

A popular fishing lake, soccer fields, picnic spots, and a playground are all part of this sprawling natural space.

The Boardwalk is home to the country's longest floating boardwalk, which spans the water between East Lake Dr and West Lake Dr. The boardwalk and trail total 4,313 feet, or just under a mile. This park is ideal for taking in nature while listening to the soothing sound of running water. During the day, you can bird watch, read a book, fish, or relax on one of the many benches that dot the walk.
