Tubac Presidio State Historic Park

Patagonia Lake State Park near Nogales, Arizona, is a dog-friendly state park with plenty of natural beauty for you and your pup to enjoy. A 265-acre man-made lake for fishing is seen from the park. Your dog can accompany you on a trip down the stream trail to witness a variety of birds and wildlife. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and they are not allowed on the manmade beaches.

Sonoita Creek State Natural Area, located in Patagonia Lake State Park, is a great place to go hiking and bird-watching with your dog. Dogs must be leashed and supervised at all times, and they are not permitted in the pool.

Your dog can play at a 2-acre off-leash dog park provided by Quail Creek-Veterans Municipal.

Anamax Dog Park offers agility equipment, and the grass provides a welcome respite from the desert. You can walk through the rest of Anamax Park with your leashed dogs or let them off their leashes here.

Sahuarita Lake Park is a 15-acre park featuring grassy sections and a lakeside pathway. Please keep in mind that dogs must be kept on a leash and are not permitted to swim in the lake. From sunrise to sunset, the park is open.
