Sonoita Creek State Natural Area

Patagonia Lake State Park near Nogales, Arizona, is a dog-friendly state park with plenty of natural beauty for you and your pup to enjoy. A 265-acre man-made lake for fishing is seen from the park. Your dog can accompany you on a trip down the stream trail to witness a variety of birds and wildlife. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and they are not allowed on the manmade beaches.

Get a look into the past by exploring the historic Tubac area with your pet. Dogs must be kept on a 6-foot leash at all times and are only allowed in the visitor center and picnic area.

Your dog can play at a 2-acre off-leash dog park provided by Quail Creek-Veterans Municipal.

Anamax Dog Park offers agility equipment, and the grass provides a welcome respite from the desert. You can walk through the rest of Anamax Park with your leashed dogs or let them off their leashes here.

Visit one of Arizona's oldest vineyards, where you may try a wide range of Arizona wines in the glass-enclosed tasting room or on the wine deck, which is surrounded by mature grape vines and spectacular mountain vistas. Pets are permitted.

Hubert Tompkins Park has a dog park with separate spaces for little and large dogs. A basketball court (lit), seats, shaded children's playgrounds, drinking fountains, exercise stations, a grass play area, horseshoe pits, parking (lighted), Ramadas with electricity and picnic tables, restrooms, volleyball court, and a walking route are also available (0.75 miles).
