Glass City Dog Park, which began as a secure location for dogs to run free and mingle with other canines, has evolved into much more than a place for dogs to burn off excess energy.

Kevin Mullan started Toledo Unleashed, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in 2009 with the goal of establishing a dog park in Toledo, Ohio. Kevin worked extensively to raise public awareness about the need for a dog park. In Toledo, he gained a lot of support from the city and park officials. Kevin moved away in late 2011 and Tina Yoppolo and Sue Joseph took up the reins.

On reclaimed land alongside the Maumee River, a 28-acre urban park with a winding cycle and footpath was built.

In the 1.5-acre fenced grass area, your dogs will be able to run around freely. There are two pieces of agility equipment as well as a hill with a tunnel.

A historic manor house featuring tours and cultural activities, as well as a wildlife refuge and leisure space.
