Large enclosed spaces for both large and small dogs, as well as dog showers, are available in Fort De Soto Park. Dogs on a six-foot leash are allowed anywhere in the park except on the beaches. The Paw Playground area is an exemption; dogs are permitted on the beach and are permitted to be off-leash in that area. They are also allowed to run around freely within the gated areas.
