Joplin Dog Park

Playground equipment and a tire swing are available at Blackwell Park for hours of outdoor fun. A walking trail circles the park, allowing you to burn calories while watching the kids play. Upgrades are on the way.

This park is known for its sports fields, woodland walks, disc golf course, and picnic area.

The park was named after Emma, a chocolate Lab who belonged to Charleston Patrolman Cassie Johnson and was located near the soccer fields in Cato Park on Charleston's West Side. In December, Johnson was slain in the line of duty. The park includes various play structures, a gazebo, and a water station.

Exercise stations, an athletic field, shaded picnic tables, and a playground can all be found in this leafy park.

The city of Charleston had a huge day on Sunday. A significant new greenspace has been consecrated and is now open to the public. Bands performed, dignitaries of all kinds basked in the sun, and children climbed boulders and splashed in the sea. It had been the most beautiful day.

This wonderful, enclosed dog park is ideal for your pet to enjoy some off-leash time. There is also access to water and benches for owners to relax on.
