For more experienced hikers, the Sunrise Peak Trail in Scottsdale, Arizona is an excellent option. It's a four-mile in-and-out trail with a 1,100-foot elevation difference. The trail is steep and rocky, and it is almost all upward, but once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the McDowell Mountains and the surrounding granite formations. Because of its difficulties, this trail is less busy than others in the area. The trailhead has free parking and a water fountain, but no restrooms. Make sure you have plenty of water for both you and Fido. All dogs must be kept on a leash.

McDowell Sonoran Preserve has plenty of pet-friendly activities for you and Petzooie to enjoy. There are numerous hiking paths for you and your dog to explore, such as the Lost Dog Wash trailhead for short, simple treks or Sunrise Trail East, a steep, rocky trail with expansive views of Sunrise Peak. Just remember to pick up after your dog and always keep him on a leash. When it's hot outside, don't bring your dog.

WestWorld of Scottsdale is a terrific option whether you need a large-scale event space rental or simply want to attend one of the many events that come to Scottsdale. An equestrian center and a dining hall are among the 300,000 square feet of show area. The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction, the International Motorcycle Show, and the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show are just a few of the significant events that use the space. Parking is plentiful, and the parking lot is occasionally used as additional event space. The public can reserve the space up to a year in advance. Dogs must be on a leash.

With a wide range of chain stores and boutiques, as well as a wide range of restaurants, you're sure to find something you like and leave with your wallets a little lighter. Relax in the garden under the giant palm palms while the kids play in the interactive fountain. Later, see a movie at the high-end iPic theater, where you may have dinner in a leather reclining chair with a blanket and pillow while watching the film. Come enjoy the holiday light displays and warm up with a drink of hot chocolate from one of the cafes over the holidays.Dogs are permitted but must be leashed, and individual stores and restaurants determine whether or not dogs are permitted inside.
