31. Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area

At the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area, leashed dogs are welcome to accompany their owners as long as they stay on the paved trails. Rio Salado is a habitat restoration project in the Rio Grande Valley. Snap in the sights of the river channel, ponds, rocks, flowers, and wildlife, but just take photos. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when in the habitat restoration area, according to Phoenix leash laws.

On the trails of Papago Park, dogs are welcome to accompany you. Take in the Sonoran Desert Habitat and the sandstone buttes that set Papago Park different from the rest of the Phoenix area's natural features. Papago Park's routes are noted for being moderate hikes with low elevation increase, making it ideal for families and beginner hikers. All paths in Papago Park are subject to Phoenix leash restrictions, and pets must be leashed at all times.

33. PetSmart Charities Park at Chase Field

At Chase Field, you and Petzooie can watch baseball games together in luxury! Ticket packages for the Dog Days of Summer, presented by PetSmart Charities, start at $50 and feature a semi-private space with all the essentials for four people and one dog. All-You-Can-Eat hot dogs, soda, water, popcorn, peanuts, and chips are available at each table. The PetSmart Charities Park, located directly behind Banner Health Centered Field, is an outdoor and indoor (air conditioned) dog park where dogs may run about and play even in the heat of summer.The outdoor park will have a baseball motif, complete with a baseball diamond and a grassy outfield, ideal for dogs to explore, play ball with other dogs, and discover their ideal "potty place." For some games, there may be a limited supply.

Steele Indian School Dog Park is an off-leash dog park located within Steele Indian School Park, where both large and small canines can enjoy some off-leash playtime. Separate spaces for large and small dogs are available, as well as ADA-compliant double-gated entrances and pathways, as well as cooled drinking fountains. On-site garbage receptacles and waste bag dispensers are also available. The dog park may be closed after heavy rains to allow the turf to dry properly. Biltmore Fashion Park, a shopping mall near Phoenix, is a great place to walk around with your dog! While you eat at one of the outdoor restaurants, shop, and have fun with your dog, take use of the many amenities available at the center.

You and your dog may enjoy a choice of hiking trails in Deem Hills. Deem Hills, made up of Precambrian granite and Tertiary volcanic rocks, is a piece of ancient history just waiting to be discovered. The Deem Hills Circumference Trail is 5.73 miles long and runs the length of the recreation area, affording spectacular vistas over the Phoenix area as well as the chance to see the wild and varied Arizona Upland vegetation. There are a variety of additional pathways to select from, offering interesting hikes for people of all fitness levels. All trails in Phoenix are subject to leash rules, and pets must be leashed at all times.

On walks up Shaw Butte, hikers are welcome to bring their leashed pets. Shaw Butte is located directly north of North Mountain and is part of the Phoenix Mountain Preserves. A trek to Shaw Butte rewards hikers with spectacular vistas of North Mountain, Piestewa Peak, and Lookout Mountain, as well as stunning views of Phoenix. Hikers have a range of trail options to select from. All hiking trails in Phoenix are subject to leash rules, and pets must be leashed at all times.

The Brass Armadillo is a great place for antique collectors to get lost in the aisles for hours. This is the biggest number of antique dealers in the desert valley, with approximately 600. Bring your walking shoes with you. Dogs of any size are welcome as long as they are well behaved and on a leash.

RJ Dog Park is a terrific spot for your dog to play off leash and is named after a police dog who died in the line of duty. A total of 2 grassy acres are split into different gated zones for little and large dogs in this completely fenced dog park. In both sides of the park, there are also shaded places and water fountains. The park is ADA-compliant.
