201. Glen Rock Playground

Triumph can sometimes emerge from tragedy. After Hurricane Agnes wrecked most of our downtown, including the baseball diamond just up the tracks in Centerville, the borough council voted to establish a recreation board in 1972. The Glen Rock Park was then dedicated in under four years to include a baseball field, softball field, and play equipment. Since then, countless volunteers, groups, and individuals have contributed to make it one of York County's finest institutions.

This 25.4-kilometer point-to-point track is located in York, Pennsylvania. It takes an average of 5 hours and 7 minutes to finish this moderately difficult trip. Although this is a popular backpacking, hiking, and mountain biking track, you can still find privacy during the quieter hours of the day. Dogs are permitted, but they must be kept on a leash.

"How come Hudson doesn't have a dog park?" " was the topic of a casual conversation among a group of friends and family members. In the summer of 2015, this led to a collaboration with the City of Hudson Park Board.

Community Park, the Township's first park, was purchased in December 1970. On East Petersburg Road, about a mile west of Route 501, the park is located.
