This vast, beautiful park includes several acres where your dog can run free. Spend some time with your pet exploring the region.

If playing in a clearing isn't your thing, there's also a large grassland where you can throw the frisbee or stick. There are lots of benches to sit on if you've worked up an appetite and need a break. Your pet will have access to water bowls.

Rotary Bark Park is a 15-acre off-leash dog park in the woods with paths and a play meadow in Gig Harbor. In the meadow area, there are picnic tables and a shelter. Howe Farm County Park

Much of the style and feel of the ancient McPherson and Howe family farmsteads may be found on the 83-acre Howe Farm Park. Physical traces of the early farming activity, which included sheep, cows, poultry, hay fields, vegetable gardens, a woodlot, and a fruit orchard, can still be seen, particularly the formidable family-built barn, which is still structurally intact. The West barn, built in the 1920s, and the East barn, built in 1946, had began to degrade with age and weathering. Both barns have been rebuilt to a stable and usable state, and the farm is being reimagined as a living example of our local farming past.
