41. Liberty Hollow Park
In the mountains near Chardon, ig Creek begins. It meets the Grand River near Painesville after flowing through hardwood forests, hemlock ravines, and over rocky ledges. Trees and vegetation along the creekbank help to stabilize the bank, offer shade, and chill the water. Insects and other invertebrates are indicators of a healthy ecosystem and provide a diverse diet for larger animals.

Concord Woods has a hiking trail, a picnic area, a shelter with a fireplace and grills, restrooms, a playground, drinking water, and a stocked fishing area. There is no need for a state fishing license.

Picnicking, hiking, and fishing are among the low-impact recreational activities available in this park. A parking lot, restroom, and a mile-long circular trail with a scenic overlook and three Grand River access locations have been added.

The Nature Playscape's first phase is now complete! For smaller children, the initial phase comprises a 'hill,' swings, tunnels, slides, and climbing activities. The second phase will commence in the spring of 2022. The Willow, Sand, and Slide sections will be added!

There is a large dog area and a little dog area in this park. On-leash dogs are permitted in all parking lots, picnic sites, and trails north of Calaveras Road.
