Checkerboard County Park

In a specified part of this park, located on Woodland Drive near the Shawnee Mission Parkway, dogs are allowed to play off-leash.

Sports fields and a dog park, as well as a playground and picnic pavilions, are all available in this large open space.

In Bunker Hills Regional Park, the dog park is near the Compost Site. Anoka County and the cities of Coon Rapids and Andover are working together on the project.

Canines can run and play in Elm Creek Park Reserve's 29-acre fenced dog off-leash area, which also has a separate area for small and weak dogs. A protected wetland pond is also available. Off-leash play time provides a dog with exercise and socialization, which helps to maintain its mental and physical health.

Large, fully fenced 13-acre dog park on Lexington's south side, south of Highway J, with two double gates and a gated swimming hole. Paths, prairies, sandy places, and trees can all be found here. In the Lexington Ave parking lot, there are restrooms and a drinking fountain.

A wide, open 1.25-acre yard in the city, entirely walled in, for active athletes or energetic sniffers. Rice Creek Sniffspot is a collection of small hills surrounded on the west by a public walking trail and the north by Rice Creek.
