Rice Creek Off-Leash Dog Area

Arden Hills is home to 14 magnificent parks covering about 102 acres, as well as one regional park and one county park.

Dog parks (off-leash dog areas) allow canines to exercise and socialize without being restrained. Throughout Ramsey County's park system, there are four dog parks.

A wide, open 1.25-acre yard in the city, entirely walled in, for active athletes or energetic sniffers. Rice Creek Sniffspot is a collection of small hills surrounded on the west by a public walking trail and the north by Rice Creek.

Fridley's Locke Dog Park is a huge enclosed dog park. There is no separate area for puppies or small breed dogs in this comingled dog park.

Lauderdale Dog Park is dog-friendly. This is a small fenced-in dog park in Community Park's northeast corner. In this park, dogs are welcome to play with their friends and get some exercise.

The Lauderdale Community Park is located at the southwest corner of Roselawn Avenue and Fulham Street (1885 Fulham Street). A picnic pavilion, tennis courts, basketball courts, small dog park, playground, ball field, illuminated hockey rink and pleasure rink, and a sledding hill are among the park's recreational amenities for residents and families.
