Dog Park Locations

The is the. The 18-acre Iron Horse Park, located on Solano Way between Hilltop and Olivera Roads, has a bocce court, benches, one picnic table with a grill, and access to the Iron Horse Regional Trail.

All canines, both residents and non-residents who use the off-leash dog parks, must be licensed and vaccinated by the City of Shakopee. This features canines from different cities.

The Kaposia Landing Off-Leash Dog Park, located at 800 Bryant Ave., is a 6.3-acre fenced-in area that provides dogs and their owners with the city's only authorized designated off-leash area.

Portius Deming was a park commissioner from 1895 to 1899 and again from 1909 to 1919. From 1915 to 1917, he was the board's president. Deming was part of a group of northeast Minneapolis businesspeople who organized the sale of Columbia Park land to the park board in 1892.

In Bunker Hills Regional Park, the dog park is near the Compost Site. Anoka County and the cities of Coon Rapids and Andover are working together on the project.

Dogs can run and play in Bryant Lake Regional Park's nine-acre fenced dog off-leash area, one of Three Rivers' many off-leash places. The Savage dog park is more than two acres of fenced-in open space with trees and benches, giving dogs and their owners plenty of freedom to run, explore, and socialize. Every day from sunrise to sunset, the park is available to the public, and residents are asked to respect park laws and carry a copy with them. Owners should bring their own water for their pets.
