The Red Jacket Valley Park, formerly known as the Guaranteed Sand and Gravel Pit, is a picturesque place ideal for hiking, canoeing and kayaking, swimming, and picnics. On the south side of the pond, there is a beach area, and there are woodland walking trails around the park.
