The Willowhaven Park & Nature Center is a play-based discovery museum with exhibits from all across the United States. Hands-on investigation and self-guided discovery are encouraged. We want youngsters to be curious about nature and to be excited about it! We make every effort to provide a safe environment.

Beck Lake Off-Leash Dog Area

A trailered boat launch and fishing are available at Beck Lake. The facility also offers an off-leash dog area and a trail connection to the Des Plaines Trail System, and is located across Central Avenue from Oakton Community College.

Gregory Island Dog Park

Gregory Island Dog Park is located on Indian Trail, just west of Route 25, and has a big enclosed area for little dogs (35 pounds and under) and room to wander for large dogs (35 pounds and over). The Fox River runs through the park on both sides.
