Gregory Island Dog Park

The Arlington Heights Park District is one of the Chicago metropolitan area's oldest and largest park systems. It can be regarded one of the most elaborate park districts northwest of Chicago, with two golf clubs and five outdoor pools plus one indoor pool.

Permits can be purchased through the Alcott Center for the Arts. The annual or daily use permit can be downloaded and returned to the Alcott Center for processing.

A trailered boat launch and fishing are available at Beck Lake. The facility also offers an off-leash dog area and a trail connection to the Des Plaines Trail System, and is located across Central Avenue from Oakton Community College.

At the Lincoln Park Dog Park, you can mingle with other pet owners while your dog gets some off-leash exercise. The Dog Park is on the west side of Aurora, between Russell and Lakewood, on the south side of Lincoln Park.
