Germania Springs Dog Park

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Chief Ladiga Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Jacksonville! The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park is located in downtown Anniston, near to the Justin Solohub Justice Center. The Model City Music Concerts are held annually at the Pavilion, which accommodates numerous community activities. A fully accessible American with Disabilities Act playground, pavilions, a splash pad, and restrooms are also available at the park. The Unity House, on the junction of 13th Street and Moore Avenue, is also in the park.



Bark Park is a dog-friendly park. The park is directly inside the James D. Martin Wildlife Park's entrance, behind the Gadsden Mall. The Bark Park was created to allow dogs to exercise and play off-leash, and there are separate areas for large and little dogs (40 lbs. or less). Each park provides water for the dogs as well as chairs for their owners.
