Before dogs can play in the enclosed dog run, they must first obtain a permission. It has separate spaces for large and little dogs, as well as toys and a water fountain for them.

Bring your dog to upper Redwood Canyon's grassy area for some off-leash fun. A leash-free permit is necessary.

Enjoy a picturesque hike with your pet, who is welcome to accompany you on the trails off-leash. On the lawn, pets must be on a leash, and an off-leash permission is required. There are no fences around the place.

This natural park allows pets to run and play off-leash as long as they have a city off-leash permit. Because the location is not fenced, exercise caution.

5. Chief Ladiga Trail

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Chief Ladiga Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an underused railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Piedmont!
