Dogs Run Free of Nevada County is a gated 1.7-acre part of Condon Park in Grass Valley featuring a separate area for small/shy dogs. Water, accessible parking, benches, rubbish cans, and non-operational fire hydrants are also spread around the pine forest park (no grass).

Western Gateway Dog Park

Western Gateway Park welcomes pets. It spans 88 lovely acres, with plenty of off-leash walking routes for dogs, open green space, and a year-round creek. Throughout the park, there are doggie bag dispensers and garbage cans. It also has a 2-acre dog park where dogs can play off-leash safely. It's completely gated, with water in each of the four exercise and training yards, seats, shade, an oak grove, and plenty of amenities for everyone, including an on-site restroom and plenty of parking. The entire facility is ADA compliant and easily accessible.
