The Glendale Parks & Open Space Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the community through park improvements, recreation programs, trails, and open space activities.

A playground, basketball court, ball field, and picnic areas make up this little entertainment area.

A 0.5-acre small dog area and a 1-acre large dog area with separate double-gated entries are available at the Crescenta Valley Dog Park. Each area is totally gated, with huge amounts of decomposed granite surfacing and cedar chip surfacing beneath and around the older trees.

Verdugo Park has playgrounds, sandboxes, picnic tables, benches, and hiking trails, and pets are welcome on leash.

The dog-friendly Electric Dusk Drive-In evokes cherished recollections of a bygone age by allowing visitors to enjoy a silver screen classic with Tinseltown looming in the horizon. Relax in your vehicle or spread out on the Astroturf lawn with a blanket. Popcorn, Coke, and other movie snacks can be purchased at The Snack Shack. Dogs on leashes are welcome to join in the moviegoing fun. Parking for cars costs $15, and per person fees range from $8 to $12.
