Bark Park at James D. Martin Wildlife Park

Bark Park is a dog-friendly park. The park is directly inside the James D. Martin Wildlife Park's entrance, behind the Gadsden Mall. The Bark Park was created to allow dogs to exercise and play off-leash, and there are separate areas for large and little dogs (40 lbs. or less). Each park provides water for the dogs as well as chairs for their owners.

Albertville's Sand Mountain Park and Amphitheater Dog Park is a pet-friendly recreation area. With 16 tennis courts, 14 outdoor turf fields, a 7,500-seat amphitheater, an 8-lane indoor competition pool, an outdoor water park, playgrounds, an RV park, and a 103,000-square-foot community recreation center, this complex is a sports, leisure, wellness, and entertainment venue. A walled dog park divided into two areas, one for large dogs and the other for tiny dogs, is the focus. Remember to clear up any trash that has been left in the park.
