Over 40 miles of hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails can be found at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Trails in the park range in length from 0.5 to 15.3 miles and difficulty from simple to hard. The North Trail, at 3.1 miles, is ideal for those seeking for a short stroll. Families, beginners, and more experienced hikers will enjoy the Lost Dog Wash path near Scottsdale, Arizona. There are numerous path alternatives for various skill and fitness levels, allowing you to choose the hike that is perfect for you and your dog. The trail is little under five miles long at its longest point, with only a 350 foot elevation change. This hike offers a variety of child-friendly choices, including numerous short informative nature trails. The trails are well-marked, and there is plenty of parking, as well as restrooms and drinking fountains, near the trailhead. Make sure you have plenty of water for yourself and Petzooie.Because there is no shade, it becomes extremely hot. At all times, dogs must be leashed.
