Coronado Dog Beach

Coronado Cays Park is a six-acre grassy park with a flat surface that is perfect for soccer games and other sports. The park is enormous and more suited to sporting activities than picnics. There aren't many trees in the park. On the southeast end, there is a playground, while on the north end, there is a baseball diamond and tennis courts.

Coronado's Dog Beach is located just across from Sunset Park on Ocean Boulevard, bordering Coronado's North Island U.S. Naval Station, and enables leash-free romps all year.

Fiddler's Cove Dog Run is a San Diego County dog park. Fiddler's Cove Dog Run is close to Silver Streetrand Boulevard and Leyte Road, as well as Fiddlers Cove RV Park.

The Bayshore Bikeway (Silver Strand Bikeway) is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a charity dedicated to building a statewide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an underused railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Coronado! Take a stroll or ride your bike beneath the Coronado Bridge to see the red roof of the historic Hotel del Coronado and stop for a snack at a trailside cafe. Dogs must be kept on leashes that are no longer than 6 feet in length, and any pet waste must be collected and disposed of as soon as possible.
