Between S. and N. Jefferson Memorial Park, located at Mildred and Morrison Streets, is an 11.6-acre park that was constructed in 1949 thanks to a contribution from the late Dr. and Mrs. G. P. Morrison. It has been owned and operated by Jefferson Memorial Park Corporation, a non-profit 501 c3 governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, until recently.
