Castaic Lake State Recreation Area

The 1.3-acre dog park is adjacent to the multi-use fields near the back of Central Park. There is a separate area for tiny dogs and a separate area for larger dogs at this off-leash dog park. The time frame is from daybreak to dark.

The enclosed Simi Dog Park in Simi Valley, CA, has both a large and small dog area, as well as water, parking, and picnic tables, where pets can run and play off-leash.

This Garden of the Gods, which has several interesting rock formations, welcomes petzooie on a leash. The 23-acre Garden of the Gods park is located in Chatsworth's northwest corner.

In the Vasquez Rocks Natural Area, the Vasquez Rocks Trail is a one-mile easy stroll that takes about an hour to complete with Petzooie. The San Andreas Fault is to blame for the rock that protrudes from the ground at such an incredible angle. They've appeared in films like Star Trek and Austin Powers, and you might remember them.

The San Fernando Road Bike Path is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a statewide network of trails from abandoned rail lines and connecting corridors. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Sylmar! In a peaceful area, the City of Moorpark Dog Park is a completely gated dog park. Before entering the park, all dogs must be licensed and vaccinated. Children under the age of six are not permitted.
