Jackson County Parks & Recreation is the third largest county park system in the United States.
Our parks system covers almost 22,000 acres and includes excellent lakes, campgrounds, one of the best public golf courses in the Kansas City area, and historic sites dating back to 1808 when Missouri was considered "far out West."
