Gotahold Brewing is a pet-friendly establishment. Bring your well-behaved canine companion to this popular destination brewery, where award-winning Master Brewer Dave Hartmann has 28 years of brewing experience. Brews can be consumed on-site in the taproom, in the large beer garden, or to-go. Gotahold Brewing is open from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays, 3 to 7 p.m. on Fridays, 12 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, and 2 to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Rock Town Distillery specializes in flavored vodka, bourbon, gin, rum, and moonshine and is dog-friendly. There will be no food supplied, but you are free to bring your own.

23. Herman Davis Memorial State Park

Herman Davis Memorial State Park is named after Herman Davis, a scout and sharpshooter who grew up hunting near Manila. He was a hero during World War I, and his final resting place is commemorated with a statue and a monument at this historic site.

Mike, the founder of Rendezvous Junction Brewing Co., moved from the Pacific Northwest to Rogers, Arkansas, and couldn't find his favorite specialty brews. Levi, his son-in-law, was introduced to the joys of home brewing when he joined the family. Their brews quickly gained a following, so they titled the venture after the community that sprung up around them, and their logo was inspired by the history of the area where they live. On the patio, Petzooie is welcome to join you at a beer barrel-turned-table with an umbrella.

Pets are welcome at Black River Overlook. This paved river pathway gives beautiful views across the water and is located beside the river. This little trail is just under half a mile long and suitable for canine hikers of all levels. Dogs on leashes are allowed as long as they are cleaned up after.

Conway Cemetery Historic State Park in Arkansas, where James Sevier Conway, Arkansas' first governor, is buried, welcomes dogs. This 11-acre park is located on the Walnut HIll Cotton Plantation, which is a huge cotton plantation. There are no campgrounds or tourist services available at this state historic monument for you and Petzooie.

27. Cedar Falls Trail

In Petit Jean State Park, this dog-friendly walk begins behind the breezeway at Mather Lodge and winds down into Cedar Creek Canyon. The trailside is adorned with massive stone boulders and huge trees. The walk then continues along Cedar Creek to Cedar Falls, which is one of the state's tallest continually flowing waterfalls at 95 feet.

A tiny dog park can be found at Love's Travel Stop. When you're running low on gas, stop by this Love's to fill up and let your dog out. The tiny park in the back is gated and equipped with a garbage station where you may clean up after your dog. Love's Travel Stop is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Dogs are invited to visit the Arkinsas Post Museum for free to learn about life on Arkansas' Grand Prairie and in the Arkansas Delta from 1877 to now. The five buildings on site have a large and varied collection of memorabilia, and Petzooie can accompany you inside all of them.

Dogs are welcome on the grounds of Powhatan Historic State Park, but they are not permitted within the structures. You can go around the outer grounds of the five ancient buildings with your leashed dog. While you're in the region, you may visit Lake Charles and Davidsonville State Parks, both of which are within 15 miles of Powhatan Historic State Park.
