Seacliff State Beach

Dogs are welcome at the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park. Trees that reach up to 2,600 feet into the sky can be seen in this redwood forest. Despite the fact that logging felled hundreds of trees in the region, many new trees are beginning to sprout back to cover the soil that had been left bare for so long. Only Aptos Creek Fire Road and the four single-track paths below the steel bridge are dog-friendly. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted beyond the Porter picnic area parking lot's fence. The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the week.

Polo Grounds Dog Park is a fenced park featuring a small dog area, fountains, benches, and shade that is easy to discover. This one-acre fenced dog park is open during daytime hours and welcomes pets to play off-leash.

Soquel Vineyards' gardens and grounds are quite kid and dog friendly, and the tiny vineyard only welcomes visitors on weekends for tastings and tours.

Dogs are welcome at Twin Lakes State Beach in Santa Cruz, CA, as long as they are kept on a leash. Nearby, there are outdoor showers and facilities.
