To rescue and care for harmed, unwanted, abandoned, and mistreated animals, the West Plains Regional Animal Shelter was established. Membership dues, bequests, gifts, annual fund-raising activities, and revenues from the shelter's thrift shop, "West Plains Regional Animal Shelter Thrift Shop," will be the only sources of funding for the facility.
