Fayette Regional Humane Society

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is in charge of running the dog shelter there. Employees at the shelter respond to calls about dogs roaming free, dog bites, and reports of animals being mauled by dogs or coyotes.

The Clinton County Humane Society depends on the time, skills, effort, and compassion of its volunteers to carry out its mission of finding excellent, loving homes for abandoned dogs and cats throughout the county.

Both cats and dogs are housed in our pet adoption center. We provide shelter, food, and medical attention for the animals we assist. Through feeding, caring for, and socializing our cats and dogs several times every day, our volunteers contribute to the cause of aiding unwanted animals. The animals are examined by a veterinarian, immunized, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. If you're interested, please visit our ADOPT link and fill out an application. A non-profit organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) is the Highland County Humane Society. For abused, abandoned, and unwanted animals, we run an animal shelter.

We offer dogs and cats a safe haven while they transition from their previous lives to their future, forever homes because we are a non-profit, no-kill shelter.

Our goal is to place the animals that have been confiscated by the Humane Society or given to us by the courts as a result of cruelty, abuse, or neglect in loving homes.
