Since 1979, the Fayette Regional Humane Society has fought animal abuse and worked to improve the lives of animals. Since we are not a government agency, no international organizations provide us with operational assistance. To fulfill our objective, we rely on the assistance of devoted contributors and volunteers.

Both cats and dogs are housed in our pet adoption center. We provide shelter, food, and medical attention for the animals we assist. Through feeding, caring for, and socializing our cats and dogs several times every day, our volunteers contribute to the cause of aiding unwanted animals. The animals are examined by a veterinarian, immunized, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. If you're interested, please visit our ADOPT link and fill out an application. We only exhibit animals by appointment or at designated adoption events.
