Jonnie Hart established Miniature Schnauzer Rescue (MSR) in 1988 with financial support from the Portland Miniature Schnauzer Club. It was intended to assist schnauzers in need of new homes.

Oregon cats in need of new homes can turn to Cat's Cradle Rescue, an all-volunteer, foster-home based No Kill organization. Cat's Cradle Rescue has saved, fostered, and adopted more than 2,000 cats and kittens since 2012 (and counting!).

Throughout Washington County, our staff provides treatment for stray, hurt, and abused animals of all sizes and forms. Six days a week are public hours, and we are available 365 days a year to feed and care for the animals.
