Animal care and management in the city are the responsibilities of the Vincennes Animal Shelter. The Shelter provides care for stray, abandoned, or surrendered animals and works to place them in new homes.

Animals in the shelter receive daily care from PAWS as well as medical attention. The people who volunteer their time to PAWS make an effort to spend quality time and show love and affection to the animals.

Collaborating with you to give Gibson County's homeless animals safe, permanent homes. We support pet retention, finding missing pets, and spreading knowledge about pet care.

The Greene County Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization with the mission of giving lost, stray, and unwanted animals in Greene County, Indiana, a safe place to live.
