Animal Control Shelter

Animals in the shelter receive daily care from PAWS as well as medical attention. The people who volunteer their time to PAWS make an effort to spend quality time and show love and affection to the animals.

Our main objective is to keep Martin County's feral cat population under control. In order to carry out that goal, we opened a spay and neuter clinic inside the animal shelter.

The Knox County Humane Society invested $46,000 in the county's TNR (trap, neuter, and return) program for stray cats in 2019. OUR OPERATIONAL COSTS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THAT AMOUNT.

Animal care and management in the city are the responsibilities of the Vincennes Animal Shelter. The Shelter provides care for stray, abandoned, or surrendered animals and works to place them in new homes.

In Jasper, Indiana, there is a no-kill shelter called the Dubois County Humane Society. We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit company that was established in 1974 to take care of stray animals in our neighborhood.

The Greene County Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization with the mission of giving lost, stray, and unwanted animals in Greene County, Indiana, a safe place to live.
